Come again another day

As rain trickles down
And washes all the town
The smell of Earth rises
Fresh as new dawn

All the heat escapes
Leaving behind a new landscape
Like a painter's canvas - wet yet
So unique - there can't be a fake

Minds clear with the clouds
Calm surfaces nice and loud
The feel of goodness that trickles
Can make a loser feel proud

Even as the first drops come
And glisten on leaves in the sun
You want it to start again
cos there's no joy quite like this one..

  1. nice poem,

Can bring calm in a crowd, thats the one line that doesn't go,

can't it be changed to something like,

Old sins washed away, a fresh slate subtle, and not loud!
